Academy of Early Learning Mission Statement
The Academy of Early Learning at North Parish, in active partnership with families and community organizations, provides quality education, support services, and collaborative programming in a safe, nurturing public school environment. We strive to meet the diverse individual needs of all our children by offering meaningful learning opportunites.  We believe young children learn best when discovering and exploring their world through play. We are dedicated to being a reponsive, community-based preschool while meeting all district, state, and national performance standards for excellence.

Welcome to the Academy at North Parish
The Greenfield Public School preschool programs are dedicated to the developmental philosophy, meaning that curriculum is based on the developmental level of each child, their learning style, and is individualized to the needs of each child. This is accomplished in varying ways including different activities for each child and open-ended activities for all children in which each child can respond in a way that he or she is able. The environments are designed to foster interaction among children and to promote "learning through doing" in an active and prepared setting.
A high-quality education is one of the most important things that we can provide a child. Our programs are based on national recognized criteria for high quality Early Childhood programs as outlined by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), http://www.naeyc.org.

Happy children
