Greenfield School District welcomes volunteers to work with children and assist with school projects. We are pleased to share our dynamic schools with you and know you will enjoy spending time with us.
Greenfield VIPs come from all walks of life in our community. Our volunteers have varied interests, backgrounds, and areas of expertise. They are parents, grandparents, college students or faculty, retirees, and local employees. Volunteers work in a school on a weekly basis or on occasion, as their schedules permit. VIPs may assist individual students with reading or math, shelve books in the school library, provide extra adult help with special classroom projects, landscape the school grounds, help with instrument lessons, give science presentations, or serve the school in other ways. We will find a volunteer experience that fits your time and interests.
It’s easy to volunteer in our schools. Just complete an application and one-page background check (application form is available at the central office at 141 Davis Street or we’ll send you a copy—email volunteer@gpsk12.org). We need to see a photo ID.
For further information about the Greenfield VIPs program and current volunteer opportunities in our schools, please contact volunteer@gpsk12.org. We look forward to assisting you!
