GHS took part in Wellness Week this week in collaboration with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG). Students are participating in a variety of health and wellness-related activities including some trivia during lunch. Some positive data regarding our students’ health and wellness practices were also shared through posters across the school.
We are pleased to announce that we have hired our new Director of Technology – John Grimaldi, who joined us this week.
We also hired our new Director of Early Childhood, Meril Miceli. Meril will begin in Greenfield following the April vacation.
We would like to congratulate Dr. Janet Dickinson, our Director of Pupil Services on her upcoming retirement, effective June 30.
The School Committee voted to revise policy IHBG Home Schooling. The revision allows students who are home-schooled to participate in extracurricular activities, including athletics. Students who are interested in participating in extracurricular activities will need to provide proof of residence in Greenfield and completing any required documentation for participation. For extracurricular activities, please contact the building principal. For athletics, please contact the Athletic Director.
