The Food Service Department will be serving a FREE meal from their new Food Truck, and there will be lawn games, crafts, activities and resources from community organizations. We hope to see you there!”
GMS will have a BBQ for grades 4 – 7 on June 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm. We hope families can make it and have a great time!
The last day of school as of today is June 22. That will be an early dismissal for students and staff, including our students at AEL. Morning students will attend and our full-day students will have an early release.
STRATEGIC PLANNING UPDATE
The Strategic Plan will be presented to the School Committee for a vote on June 14th. We are very excited to come to the final steps in creating the Strategic Plan.
I greatly appreciate the time and effort everyone gave to get to this point in the process.
We ask that any family who has an incoming kindergarten student to please register them as soon as possible. If you know other families with children who turn 5 by September 1, please have them reach out to the district. Thank you in advance
I would like to thank all of the staff in the district who have been so welcoming to the displaced students who have been located in Greenfield. We have been able to have students join us at Newton School, Greenfield Middle School, and Greenfield High School.
A special thank you to Andrea DiTullio, Glen Franklin and Rebecca Lorusso, and Janet Dickinson for helping to register our new students. We continue to work with families and community agencies to welcome any new students to Greenfield despite the school year coming to an end.
Take care and enjoy the weekend
