FREE COMMUNITY MOVIE SCREENING

The Northwest District Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Hampshire and Franklin Counties, will provide a free screening of the Frontline documentary Sex Trafficking in America.  This will be followed by a panel discussion.  This is offered to parents of teens, providers, educators, and anyone working in youth-serving organizations.  The screening will be held on May 29 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Greenfield Garden Cinema.

BUDGET UPDATE

The City Council voted on the FY25 City budget, which included the budget for GPS.  This provides the district with a 4% increase in local funds over last year’s budget.  We are not planning any staff or programming changes due to the budget.

SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

A meeting of the SEPAC is scheduled for June 3 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Greenfield Middle School library.  Please see the flyer for more information.

Take care

Christine
