***MEAL MODIFICATION FORM*** If your child has a food allergy or other disability and requires meal modifications please fill out this form, have it signed by your child’s medical provider, and return it to us as soon as possible. Forms can be emailed to joabit1@gpsk12.org or handed to the Site Monitor at your favorite Summer Eats site. We will do our best to accommodate all requests and might be in touch to get more information from you on where and when you will be needing meals over the course of the summer and which modifications are most appropriate for your child. What you need to know this summer:
- Program runs 6/23/25 – 8/15/25. Open dates & times vary by site, so please read our flyer closely. All sites are closed on July 4.
- Grab & Go is now allowed for rural communities like ours! See the above flyer to find a grab & go site near you!
- Open to ALL kids 18 and under, no registration or ID required
- Kids do not need to be residents of Greenfield or enrolled in Greenfield Public Schools
- Parents/guardians can pick up grab & go meals for kids without kids present; however, please note the following:
- Camps and programs may not pick up bulk grab & go meals from our meal sites. If you want to take advantage of one of our meal sites, you must bring kids to the site so they can grab meals individually at the point of service. If you are a camp or other program looking for meals, please contact Joan Bitters at 413-772-1334.
- Free meals are for KIDS only. Adults may not take free meals for themselves. If you wish to purchase a meal, please speak with our site staff.
- Each child is eligible for 2 free meals per day, either breakfast and lunch or breakfast and supper.
- Exciting raffles! We’ll choose 10-20 winners each week to receive prizes valued $15 – $100!

Catch the GPS Green Wave Food Truck on the road this summer!
We’re taking “real food on the move!” with our Green Wave Food Truck, which is serving grab & go breakfast, lunch, & supper across the city!
Now with 5 lunch sites and 4 supper sites! Breakfast is available for the next morning at both lunch and supper sites.
Lunch Sites: Leyden Woods, Legion Ave Lot, Greenfield Gardens, Oak Courts, Hillside Park
Supper Sites: Greenfield Skate Park, Greenfield Public Library, Just Roots, Fosters Supermarket
