Greenfield families are invited to celebrate the start of summer at the Summer Eats 2026 Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, June 24, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Green River Swim Area, located at 1 Nash’s Mill Road in Greenfield.
This free community event marks the beginning of the Summer Eats season and offers families a chance to enjoy an afternoon of food, activities, and community connection.
The event will feature:
- Free meals from the Summer Eats food truck
- Summer Eats giveaways and swag
- Lawn games and activities for children
- Information and resources from local community organizations
Vegetarian and gluten-free meal options will be available. Meals are free for all children and teens ages 18 and under, as well as accompanying parents, guardians, and family members.
In the event of rain, the celebration will be held at Greenfield Middle School during the same hours.
Summer Eats helps ensure that children have access to healthy meals throughout the summer months, and the kick-off event is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn more about the program while enjoying an afternoon together.
